I love this place. But my vegetarian girlfriend doesn't like the options. Would be great if they changed the menu so I could eat here more often. The mint beef is my favourite highly recommend. They also have mint chicken which is also good. See less

After 3 years being overseas our first stop for takeaway was to return to the TuDo Restaurant in O’Connor. The wonderful cooking smells as you walked in the restaurant was so good. We ordered big on the TuDo meals, our favourites we discussed every time we thought of Vietnamese Food. Tu Do didn’t disappoint. We loved our chicken wings, veg spring rolls, chilli chicken and lemon grass, satay chicken and stir fry veg. Great food. We travel all the way from Jerrabomberra to enjoy their food. Really nice food. The staff were very helpful to accommodate food intolerances (no garlic, onion, shallots, tomato). They did accidentally bring out one dish topped in dried onion/shallots but the once the waitress noticed they were very quick to replace it and very understanding. I would highly recommend! See less

Everything was delicious especially the lemon grass and chilli chicken. I went back this morning to pick up my phone which I left there last night and the owner has charged it for me. Easy to see why this little restaurant has been operated by the same family for 42 years. See less

Have been here number of times over the years! The quality of the food is not bad and fairly consistent. The pho broth was pretty nice but serving portions could have been improved and didn’t have as many types of ingredients compared to others. The pork chop was nice but a little fry. Overall a good option for Vietnamese in cbd area. See less

Tu Do serves disappointing pho and features mediocre service at best. The pho lacks the distinct traditional herbs used in a pho broth. This makes the pho taste like generic beef stock. The portion size is average at best. The service was inattentive despite being a less than busy evening meal time. The servers were often scrolling through their phone while multiple customers were trying to get their attention. See less

Best Vietnamese in Canberra - what some of the other reviewers here don't seem to understand is that the restaurant is a small, local, family-run business - obviously it will be busy on particular nights of the week, and sometimes the servers will be stressed. I've never had a problem walking in without a reservation. Give them a break. Supporting local means supporting small family businesses too. Fantastic pho and veggie spring rolls. See less

The food was okay and the restaurant is fairly clean. But the service was absolutely atrocious. The lady who waited our table (seemingly the owner) was rude and snappy. When we kindly asked for some cooked bean sprouts for our pho, she went ahead and disciplined us that our request would be creating more unnecessary work for her. She continued to be rude until we got up to pay, throwing the bill onto the counter without a single word. Overall it was a terrible experience and we will not be returning. There are much better Vietnamese options around the area. See less

Went there for the pho recently. Great broth, great tasting. Grossly insufficient noodles - like about half what a normal portion would be. Ok beef. Decent price ($13/13.50 for a bowl). But i'd much rather pay a little more for a complete meal. See less

Very authentic vietnamese food...look at the pan fried chicken wings, delicious. And the rice noodles soup, the rice noodles are so chewy, the texture is great. Very nice meal. Will definitely go again if coming to Canberra. See less
