I grew up with Tuks, and now live 50mins away, but whenever I visit my mum this is ALWAYS our dinner choice! Best chips and gravy I've ever had, I've not been able to find a good substitute since leaving the area over 10 years ago! See less

Great fish and chip shop but wondered why the chicken was only average until one day I seen a employee bring chicken bought from the drakes next door.seriously. they didn't even try to hide it. Won't stop me going there though because rest of the food is awesome See less

Chips were undercooked paid for a large chips and gravy but looked more like a small. I also ordered 2 potato fritters which were dripping with oil and unpleasant to eat. See less

Been going there for years but the last 4 times my food has ended up in the bin. Pasta salads are as bland as eating plain pasta. Crabsticks half cooked the batter is half done yiros have been sloppy and soaked and the yiros bread goes to a wet mush. Won't be going again See less

Went their a few times picked up on the vibe they weren't very nice people last time i went their that just confirmed it. Seriously people if your rude to people for no reason they will just go elsewhere. Plenty of takeaway places to go to. See less

Always used to go out of my way to go here for their fresh chips. But the last few times they have been ordinary. I tried them again as was expecting them to be the way they were the first few times I went here. Unfortunately the chips were dry and disgusting, tasted as if they were a week old and not even as good as frozen chips. Very disappointed and will never go back there. See less

Absolutely the worst chips ever! I stopped coming to Para Vista chip shop 15 years ago after being served greasy dark brown chips that looked like they had been cooked 5 times! I decided to try them again, hoping they would have improved, but no way, the chips were inedible & I was way overcharged. Never ever will I be going back. Very poor. 😩🤮🤮 See less

Dinner last night was horrible Chips were undercooked and some were actually raw. Hamburger had a pattie half the size of the bun and the bun itself tasted stale The hotdog had a burnt roll and the sausage was petrified Quality of the food is so inconsistent and they treat their customers like they are an inconvenience Avoid this place unless you hate yourself See less

Fantastic chips. Made from fresh not frozen. Not much other variety though which is normal for most Chip shops. Didn't try much else but crumbed sausage and crab stick which were good. See less

Average chips. Should cook more as they are very soggy. Not very nice chicken salt should use a different brand. Should try chicken chef chips they are hand cut like yours but taste better, because they are cooked better. See less

Most disgusting chips I've had...ever. Can usually rely on your 'fresh, not frozen' chips, but these taste like they'd been put in the fridge and reheated....kids wouldn't even eat them. Wouldn't recommend. See less

Except for a handful of places, South Australia overall doesn't do Fish and Chips very well. Nothing like the eastern states. However, Tuks is one of them that gets it right!. Family business, multiple generations working together doing it the old school way. Great quality fish, freshly cut chips (not frozen), everything cooked just the way it should be. Highly recommend them! See less
