Was an amazing time with delicious food and fantastic vibes. They gave Complimentary soup as well (for special customers in festive season of Ramadan) which was best Soup in my life I ever had. Will go back soon. See less

just had the best lunch $20 lunch specials with a glass of wine. so fresh and filling only to have 2 rude ladies at the counter - firstly splitting the bill where it clearly states no bill splitting and then complaining about the price of the food… apparently they were given the wrong menu with the wrong price - seriously the audacity of some customers !! RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A LADY. Me and my dad went to pickup our food and as we got there, that lady yelled at my dad to F off, swearing at him and telling him to leave the restaurant. She then comes at me and tells me to F off and calls me ugly. Giving us nasty faces when she knows us from a long time, not appreciating us for coming to them all the time ordering food from. But we are to NEVER AGAIN order from them! As the lady there is VERY RUDE, never smiles, doesn’t welcome us and leaves us feeling uncomfortable. Very Unprofessional of her to treat us this way. She shouldn’t be allowed to work and heaps of people complains about her. See less

Food was good however the service and staff left a little to be desired. One older lady that appeared to be a supervisor was miserable and dismissive from the beginning and there appeared to be evident tension between the staff. Don't think we saw one staff member smile or look happy. Not an overall pleasant experience. See less

Nice food. Nice owner. Service not very polished though, not sure how well trained or experienced the staff are? More like cafe service than a restaurant. They also need to clean the tables more thoroughly. The alfresco area was full of flies that were always landing on tables.... fyi, a quick spray and wipe of a table doesn't clean it properly. just ask the flies... See less

The BEST food in Canberra and amazing value. Often they throw in an extra something (last time it was a whole pide!!!). Just consistently great too, if you haven't eaten here yet then you're only missing out. See less

To start off with we ordered dips which were what you'd expect, although they didn't provide enough bread. We then ordered a seafood platter for two. One prawn each person, four small slithers of calamari,a tiny bit acquainted of salmon each and over cooked vegetables. Very disappointing. See less

Great value classic Turkish venue, the Pide House always delivers! Banquet sizes are very generous and there is an abundance of meats, dips, bread, rice and salad. All of this in a spacious and clean environment with excellent customer service. See less

The food is always lovely here but the service can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. Last night we had dinner there and from the start the service was not that great. Wine glasses were only brought out for part of the group to start with, then no menus appeared and when we asked we were told they were short of physical menus as it was busy. So we decided to use our phones to order from the website. Once we had decided and were ready to order we were told that as we were a group of 10, we had to order from the Christmas banquet leaflet that had been left on the table. At no point in the 45mins we had been there had this been explained. That caused more delays and several times when members of the group asked perfectly sensible questions, the waitress rolled her eyes and sighed. The food when it came was as always very tasty and there was plenty of it. We did also receive a small dessert each at no charge which was a nice touch. However, overall I would have preferred to be able to choose a lighter dish from the menu and not be forced into a banquet situation where I had to skip some of the dishes as they contained ingredients I couldn't eat. Clearer guidance when booking would have helped. I would also like to stress that the majority of the staff were pleasant and the one rude waitress let them down sadly. See less

OH MY GOODNESS ! Food never tasted so good 😋 First time guest this evening but can guarantee it won't be the last. Friendly helpful and courteous staff. The food was do fresh and tasty. We went here for dinner around 7pm on a Saturday. We were seated indoor. The restaurant was packed and it was noisy inside. They also have outdoor seating, it would have been nicer to sit outside if it wasn't too hot. They gave us a complimentary Turkish bread with carrot and beetroot dips to start with. we ordered: Hot Entree Platter: 2 zucchini puffs, 2 borek (fetta rolls), 2 falafel, 2 vine leaves Cost: $18.00 Gourmet Pides- El Munana: meat lovers- spicy Turkish pepperoni & salami, braised lamb, onions, capsicum, tomatoes &BBQ sauce Cost: $23.50 Overall, the foods were delicious! The pides are large, one serving can be shared between two people. See less
