Urban chicken has been around for ages. They are and have always been friendly and the quality of their chicken and chips is superb. Highly recommend 5 Stars. See less

I have only recently ordered food from these premises. When I first walked in, I was impressed with the spaciousness of the interior, the wide selection of foods available to order and the great variety of salads that were available. Being open 7 days a week was also a plus factor. I thought the pricing of the meals was good.The chickens coming out looked great although I didn't order one. The staff were friendly and I was greeted nicely on all three occasions of my visits. On my first visit, I had a chicken Yiros wrap. It was quite tasty but the salad with it was limp to say the least. The next time I ordered a chicken shnitzel hamburger. The meat was fine, but again I found the salad poor. On my last visit, I ordered a chicken yiros pack that came with tabouli, tomato, lettuce, onion, chips and of course the garlic sauce. The lettuce and tomato were again virtually past their use by date, the tabouli was definitely not fresh and there was hardly any chicken to speak of. What chicken was able to be found was totally dried out. The chips were edible but ordinary. It was the worst Chicken Yiros pack that I have ever eaten. I definitely won't be going back. I will go back to the regular venues that I have ordered food from. A little more expensive but of much higher quality in portion, taste and freshness of salad produce. See less

What a joke. Pressed chicken snitzel. Who does that. Ordered 2 salads. 1 greek 1 been. Got the bean but greek consisted of 4 cherry tomatoe halfs that's it. Gross! See less

Never really know how it's going to go. Think it depends on who's in charge any particular night. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's definitely not. If there were another takeaway handy I'd use it, but this is the closest to me. See less

If your after a processed chicken shnitzel that taste like frozen nuggets, this is the place to go. Veg was cold in the shnitzel pack. Won’t be going back. Chips were good but still doesn’t make for a letdown of the rest of it See less

This changed hands some time back and its no where near as good as it once was. The salads are not as good as they once were, chickens are ok if you can get one. Everytine I go there they are sold out or still cooking. Id suggest at 7pm you'd make sure chickens are available. The hamburgers looked great but the beef patty consisted of a lot of fill, maybe bread and was tasteless. The lettuce and tomato was good. The chips were disappointing. See less

Seriously. I live locally and try and patronise this business. However they have one the worst attitudes in regard to customers service - its kind of like you should feel privileged that we even open. Call within 2 hours of closing - you won't get any chicken, call within 45 mins of closing and you won't get a call pick up. Maybe Uber eats has priority on calls? Whatever - luckily there are a few other great alternatives for chicken and chips, fish and chips nearby - just google and they'll happily take your order. See less

Ordered minimum chips and was told ‘they won’t be long’. Only one other person in shop. Watched as only one basket out of approx six went into the fryer. These were for someone else. It took 15 minutes before mine even went in the fryer. Multitasking is an essential skill to run a fast food store. Not sure these guys have it. The chips were standard. See less

Shop could do with a bit of a makeover as its looking pretty rundown, shop was quite noisy and abit hard to place the order as its hard to hear the worker taking your order as well as being in abit of a rush, seems the shop echoes abit maybe. Apart from that the grilled fish was quite nice, had abit of a crust on it and the chips weren't too bad either See less

Had poor past experiences but thought I’d try it again because it said under new management but looks the same guy to me. He and 2 girls on New Year’s Day, they were flat out, clearly understaffed. I felt sorry for the poor girls who looked to be trying their best. Rang my order through, told it would be ready in 10 minutes only to wait another 45 mins in the shop. Chips were a bit overdone and the grilled fish was really salty. Sorry to say I’ll be going down to the great shop in Malvern in future. See less
