Really the only place to go for ughyur cuisine in Canberra. Their menu is a bit confusing as the descriptions pretty much sound the same, so ask for the menu with pictures. If not just google a pic n show it to them,chances are they make it See less

Potatoes weren't cooked and chicken tasted like it was cooked the day before. Lamb skewers were fatty and overcooked. Definitely not as good as our previous visit. See less

The lamb dishes especially the kebabs are amazing. The dishes are interesting but be careful as a few dishes are super chilli hot. If you are not sure, ask the person taking your order. Friendly staff and very helpful. See less

As someone who has spent many years living in China I would say this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Canberra. It's not fancy dining but the food is very authentic. For diners looking for a change from the Cantonese or Shanghai cuisine served by most Canberra Chinese restaurants this is a breath of fresh air. For people not familiar with Xinjiang regional cuisine, it has a distinct flavour which is well worth trying.When I was there the restaurant was full of Chinese diners which is always a good sign and having tasted the food I know why. I really hope these guys do well because they deserve to. See less
