I have visited Via Porta several times so you can tell how much I love this cafe. First of all, the interior is definitely one of the best in Melbourne. I fell in love immediately on my first visit. Food quality was absolutely divine and they were very generous with the portions. My favourite dish gotta be their beef cheek toastie. Everything was well-balanced and the tanginess of kimchi just cut through the sandwich. The other star was the chicken burger! That was the most succulent and flavoursome chicken I have had. The chips were equally amazing!! I would say their savour dishes outstripped the sweet ones. French toast was a bit soggy and the pastries were slightly too chewy for my liking but the flavour was definitely on point! No doubt this is a top 5 on my list! See less
