Heard of Vinh Dat through a friend who said they did really good Char Kway Teow. I've tried the noodles all from a lot of places in eastern Melbourne and Vinh Dat definitely rates in the top 5. So much flavour with the right meat/noodle ratio makes it hard to give it a miss everytime I go past it.
When you order it, the menu doesn't really give you a choice as to which meat so be sure to be specific when you order it. If you're not too fussy, the standard order of Char Kway Teow will be the noodles with a combination of meats, prawns and squid. At the time, the dish cost $11.50 for a very generous size. See less
