Last time I went here I ordered 3 potato cakes and chips. What came with the order: 5 90% batter potato cakes. Chips that were brighter than the sun, and some half eaten fish. Chips are too expensive and smells horrible in there. Will not be returning. See less

Lovely owners! I visited a few weeks ago and I think they may have changed the burger meat recipe, it tastes a lot better than what I remembered. Ask for chicken salt on your chips and you cant go wrong, highly recommend. See less

Great local fish and chip shop. Don’t judge a book by its cover! The chips are always cooked to perfection, especially if you like them super crispy and not soggy, just ask for the chips to be well done and you won’t be disappointed. Add chicken salt to the lot and you can’t go wrong! See less

I ordered a flake pack w/chips & calamari rings + add grilled flake piece about a week ago. The meal size was good value and the battered flake was crunchy. Person who took my order and cooked, was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately both flake pieces were mushy with no flavour, calamari batter was soggy and undercooked, chips were ok. I mentioned the calamari rings were undercooked expecting an apology and an offer of a refund or replace my undercooked calamari. Instead i was told I should have asked for crispy calamari at the start of my order! Definitely not going back! See less

There's a lady that was cooking the fish, both grilled and fried last week when I went to collect my order. I watched as she carefully and so precisely placed one side of the fish down to cook, and as that was happening, put dots of batter on the areas her fingers had taken the batter off when placing it onto the grill or in the oil, then she would flip it when done and fill in with batter those same spots on the other side. It had me in awe watching her, taking such pride in a piece of fish, to make sure it was covered in the right amount of batter and so evenly and so perfect! I realised then, that's just the start of the finesse that this shop takes to do the best they possibly can in delivering a beautifully cooked piece of fish. Which I might add, was, and always has been my preferred shop to get my fish cooked perfectly. Bravo Vithos !! And bravo to this beautiful lady who took so much care and pride in what she was doing. Roy (the owner) is an absolute legend. Nothing better than a chicken burger with the boys for lunch. To follow up with Tommy's point, Roy is definitely one of the boys. We also consider the girl that works with Roy to be a legend as well and as such, we cant thank Vithos enough for always providing the goods for good times. See less

The hands down best fish and chips shop i have ever been to. The current owner Roy is a absolute legend and i consider him one of the boys. Amazing food, they make better souvlakis than the greeks at the charcoal chicken shop down a bit , food cooked well, crispy and fresh, and good affordable prices. This is a must go to. See less
