Great vibe and the traditional ceviche and the octopus killed it. Great way to spend a sat night. I liked how it's not too formal and will see people dressed from casual to semi formal. Would go there again. See less

Sydney's hottest new restaurant! Peruvian cuisine quickly becoming my favourite cuisine. Warike Restaurant & Bar is the best place to try traditional Peruvian cooking, with all the favourites from ceviche to the diverse fresh seafood dishes the country is famous for, especially the Oysters. I visited Warike on the soft launch opening night last Thursday and as a fan of Peruvian cuisine, I was very impressed with the skill, technique and flavours which were both refined and true to Peruvian flavours. The vibe of the restaurant was also immaculate and would be a great place for groups, date night, or any other occasion. Some of the menu highlights for me were the Oysters Al Aji Amarillo, the Aji De Gallina Rolls (Must Order), the Paella Con Mariscos., and the Suspiro De Lucuma (For Dessert). This was my first time trying a Peruvian feast, I honestly did not know what to expect after finding out it had a touch of Japanese fusion to the flavours as well. The course was full of flavour and most refreshing highlights for me were the aji De Gallina Rolls packed with flavour with shredded chicken, parmesan cheese, pecans and Aji Amarillo. I also loved the oysters with dill oil, chalaquita, tiger’s milk. Every dish from the night was delightful! The dishes at Warike are simply stunning. Picture the freshest and best quality seafood and ingredients, treated with the utmost respect and showcased with complementary flavours that enhance and let the seafood shine. The atmosphere is like a family party where the food is prepared with love. I've already made 2 bookings to come back with different groups of friends because I am so excited about this new restaurant (and that speaks volumes). Peruvian food is ranked so highly on the worldwide stage but so under-represented in Sydney so Warike is a very welcome and wanted addition to the Sydney dining scene. The food was so GOD-DAYM-FINGER-LICKING-GOOD! It was incredibly hard to pick just one favourite with everything being so perfectly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The Peruvian, Japanese infused dishes are just spectacular and each dish is plated like a work of art. I’m particularly obsessed with their ceviche, really quite speechless by how much flavour they were able to pack into one dish. The staff are super hospitable and the venue itself is the place to be. I highly recommend you getting in the car and checking out this spot. See less

Excellent service and food. Our favourite dish was the aji de gallina rolls - definitely coming back for these! If I was being nitpicky, I would say that they scotch fillet was a tad charred which caused it to have a bitter flavour on the crust whilst still being blue on the inside. However, everything else was great! The Ceviche clasico wasn't as good as the tuna, but both were delicious. The dessert was quite rich and indulgent from the dulce de leche. Me and my partner had no issues sharing a single dessert. See less

Oh my God what an experience. This my first introduction to a Peruvian cuisine and culture I didn't know what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations, I would give the place 10 stars if I can. The atmosphere was amazing, the entertainment was phenomenal and so much fun. Drinks and cocktails superb, but defenitly the food was the highlight and main reason we are there. The freshness of the food, the texture. Presentation and of course the taste were amazing and I couldn't stop eating or fault any dish. I loved every part of my night and experience and defenitly going back again. I highly recommend the place the staff very helpful, friendly and hospital. See less

👀 Located at the bottom or top? of Devonshire street is Warike. Plenty of parking nearby, right on the light rail line too for extra convenience. 💁🏼‍♀️ The Peruvian culture is so warm and inviting. This family run business has such a cool spin on traditional Peruvian food. All dishes are served tapas style sharing plates, therefore all dishes are crafted to be shared between 2 or more patrons. 🍷 The drink menu is so good! Peruvian beer ✅ Pisco Sours ✅ A delicious Pina colado-esque mocktail that has pineapple juice and ginger beer ✅ 💥 We were so spoilt to try almost all of the menu! My absolute favourite dishes were the Scallops Tiradito, the textures in the dish and the flavours were superior to the other tiraditos. Aji De Gallina Rolls were like chicken spring rolls with an amazing sauce made of bread! Tasted so different and covered in cheese. Hands down the best Peruvian food in Sydney!! After travelling Perú for 6 months this is the closest I've come to finding Peruvian food here in Australia. The team does an amazing job of transporting you to Perú and the food is absolutely outstanding. Looking forward to the opening of a permanent location so I can enjoy it more often! See less

Wow! What an amazing experience this was! Probably the best way to experience Peruvian cuisine for the first time. The food was unique and full of fresh ingredients. The presentation of the food made your mouth water before you even tasted it. I loved the drinks that were refreshing and had such good flavours. The added bonus was foam made from aquafaba rather than egg whites. To top it off, the service was excellent; warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We NEED to visit the permanent location in the future and hopefully experience some live music! See less
