Ordered 1x Chicken Banh Mi and 1x Pork Banh Mi. Genuinely the most disgusting things I've ever seen in my life. They were both thrown in the bin as soon as we got home. The chicken was floating in some sort of juice and who knows what this 'pork' is. After seeing other reviews mentioning food poisoning and that the bakery had been shut down previously by the health department we decided eating these wasn't worth the risk. See less

Terrible coffee, awful cold egg and bacon roll. Also has the cheek to charge 50cents to pay by card and hides that by not showing the eftpos machine. Will never come here again. See less

Decent food, but the owner of the business is consistently, incredibly rude. Not just unwelcoming, but straight up inconvenienced by you just walking into her bakery. If you go here, believe me, you'll know when you meet her. See less

Well where do I begin. My tumultuous love affair with Wendys Bakery began three years ago when I moved to the area, a refugee from a place with no vietnamese baguettes. I've never tried anything other than the banh mi from this place but let me tell you, cop a roast pork or roast chicken roll on a good day and you're eating good, with very nice meats and crackling and good amount of herbs. However, I can't leave a review without getting this off my chest. When you order the roll, unless you go the stock standard pre made options, chance of getting the wrong filling is dangerously high. If you have an uncultured palate like this man and avoid pate because it's made of liver, you will have to let it be known loud and clear, maybe even repeat yourself to the lovely women behind the counter. I give 4 star not 5 because while the roll is very good, it's not the crispiest i've had and there has been occasions where it wasn't so fresh. I compel you to try the roast chicken roll with gravy and pork crackling. See less

I really enjoy your pies and banh mi, but you guys really need to rethink your 50c surcharge when making a card payment under $10. I'd be OK with a standard 1.5% but charging more than the actual merchant fee has been illegal for a while now See less

Great place to get your Bánh mì, I get the roast pork and my wife gets the traditional one. Not as cheap as Springvale buy good value around Mitcham. They also have great cinnamon doughnuts 🍩, and cheap as well, there isn't another place nearby that I know where you can get decent ones, the Coles ones are too soft. See less

Thanks to COVID I am able to explore my neigbourhood bakery/bahn mi place. Wendy’s bakery is a gem. Humble bakery with delicious goodies. I can’t get past their custard tart, French vanilla slice and above all their Vietnamese pork roll! So many choices to choose from. My favourite has got to be the BBQ pork with pork crackling.
