Honestly im so dissapointed....Good Friday I wake up and place our order at 930 am to ensure delivery and at the time we asked for it to be delivered they cancel it! A regular customer no longer and hungry kids without! Poor poor service! See less

For anyone that hasn’t tried this place, don’t try it if you dont see an adult in the kitchen. First of all, as I walked in, the young girl working there didn’t even greet me to begin with. She just stood at the counter and stared at me. Second of all, as i was waiting for my order, someone had called the shop to order food, and while that was taken into place, 2 male workers were laughing in the background secretly making fun of the caller making an order. Thirdly, the food that i had was over cooked. The potato cake felt like i was eating dorito chips, the fish was the same. Thought i’d give this place a go as it was closer to home, but never again. Mermaid Fish n Chips on Lurline would be a hetter option if looking for quality. 28/03/22 is when this took place. See less

Ordered fish and chips from here today and it took almost 35 mins. All the staff were rude just laughing and having a good yarn while i waited ridiculously long, which resulted in my order being left under the warmer for the past 10 mins. The flakes were cooked too long, border line burnt. Potato Cakes were burnt, had absolutely no filling inside. Staff also got our order wrong & did not include any sauce in the burger i ordered. wont be back for a while See less

Best fish and chips in the Cranbourne area. The chips potatoe cakes and dims are so yummy and crunchy . They give great portion sizes and it’s good value for money . The burgers are amazing and tasty the lot burger is my favourite beef Pattie is decent size and definitely recommend trying the lamb souvlakis they use real lamb with all my favourite fillings. Had fish n chips from here tonight, was so tasty the flake was awesome and they use proper lamb on the souvlaki. Management are always so pleasant and they always throw extra stuff in. Keep up the great work guys. See less

Just moved to the area few months ago … one of my friends recommended this place … been there a few times and I’ve only had good experiences…it is the Best fish and chips I’ve ever had … there flake and chips were so crunchy and burgers were delicious 🤤… and my partner had the lamb souvlaki which he said was delicious and filling also. Potato cakes are usually amazing here, but today they were dry and tasted stale. Fish is always hit and miss. I ordered flake today and it definitely wasn't flake. Rubbery and fishy taste. If this place had consistency, it'd be great. Always seems to be new kids working there. They are unenthusiastic and sometimes rude. No attention to detail and I've had my order given to someone else twice now. A few minutes later they came back, then the kid behind the counter tried to give me that food that some stranger had rifled through... Today I also stuck to the floor. It's clear they haven't been washed in a while. Losing my faith in this place. The shop near IGA is much better! See less

Tried for the first time and my dog ate my fish and my scallops, the batter was rock hard on the fish and the scallops the flake was not nice at all neither were the scallops. My brother had a Lamb souvalaki didn't have much on it and he didn't really enjoy it. We will stick to our regular fish and chip shop See less

Ordered through the website, arrived on the time listed to be told they got IT issues so the order didn’t go through to them. Fair enough. So I had to wait after ordering again. Wasn’t even told sorry for the wait, or offered anything extra as most places would in this situation. Got home and the food was average, very greasy. Edit - the food has just made my fiancée sick. Won’t be coming back. See less

Order was missing items, received unwanted items. Ordered both grilled and fried flake, both were dry and tough, could barely get the fork through it. Potato cakes were so thin, we think there was a slice of potato in them. See less

Just moved into the area and gave them ago after recommendation from work mate. The burgers are amazing - filling and fresh. Fish n Chips are also tasty and very filling. the large chips is certainly large. Service on 3 occasions so far was great. happy to recommend See less

When they first opened the food was always amazing! The last 3 times I have ordered I have been very displeased. After the reoccurring bad experiences I don’t think I’ll be returning again which I’m not too happy about as I thought I had found a great local fish and chip shop! The food has been very over cooked. Fish has been very dry. Oil seems old and dirty - leaving all the food smelling awful. My steamed dim sims were cold inside and dry on the outside - I took one bite and couldn’t eat the rest! A real shame See less
