I came in to this place, and sit down on the table for 15 minutes waiting for someone to deliver the menu, there was a waiter around and didn't bother to say I had to order at the counter. I ordered a coffee which was immediately delivered to my table, which was not hot and the foam had already settled which for me means that coffee had been rejected from someone else's table and they just gave it to me. Then I waited for 30 minutes for my eggs benedict to be served while seeing order costumers that arrived after me being served first than me. After 30 minutes a received a COLD dish of eggs benedict with an awful presentation and average taste. I paid for for this dish plus coffee $30!!! You guys had my dish ready to be delivered for a long time and went COLD (and you still served it to me). Have some respect for someone who pays that much money for something like this. I would not only come back but as a Google Guide Level 7 and food blogger would encourage people not to waste their money and time in this place. See less

Usually go to the cafe across the road but as it was closed thought we would try the White Picket Fence. Staff attitude is a bit off - not terribly friendly. Thought we’d try what we usually have across the road but it didn’t quite hit the mark. The poached eggs were perfect but the hollandaise sauce was lacking flavour & the toast was plain old cheap white bread & was hardly toasted & soft & doughy. I sent it back & even the more toasted piece of bread was not very nice. Sourdough bread would have been a much better offering. So all in all a bit disappointed so probably won’t be back. See less

Good food but the workers are so rude and just want to talk amongst themselves and not serve customers See less

Bloody tops! Paul is a quiet but attentive host, his staff like him, for good reason I think. Food is top end. Room to park a loaded car trailer outside, but maybe I was lucky! See less

It is normally busy, but it doesn't mean you cannot find a cosy seat and enjoy your coffee, there are several spaces indoor and outdoor, there is also a back yard suitable for families with kids, the other two outdoor spaces are very nice, although located beside the square, but you still have your privacy. The staff are very attentive and professional, and the coffee always had constant quality so far. See less

I had a lovely lunch here which is why I gave it two stars, but the rude attitude of a staff member was breathtaking. After lunch, I ordered a gluten free almond biscuit and a coconut milk latte and asked for the coffee to be hot. The staff member rudely said it will be horrible, to which I replied, I don’t want horrible, I just want a hot coffee. The biscuit was plonked on my table and it was so disgustingly sweet I couldn’t eat it. I grabbed the attention of a young staffer and politely said the biscuit was awful and again was dismissed. I’d been at the cafe for about an hour by this stage, and my plate from my lovely lunch was still sitting to the side, waiting to be removed. So based on my disappointment, and rather than post a bad review, I asked for the manager so I could give some feedback. Turns out the rude staff member is the manager! So none of my feedback was taken on board, she dismissed everything I said and not even a sense of an apology offered. I did say that I wanted to share the feedback before leaving a review and only then was a half hearted apology given. I was so disappointed, as I know how tough small businesses are doing it, and a little bit of finesse would have turned me around in seconds. See less

A lovely little spot to meet a friend in the leafy Eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Plenty of tables to sit outside. See less

Fast and efficient service. Menu items were scaled back as with most casual breakfast and lunch cafés during peak of COVID-19 cases unfortunately and has remained scant. See less

This cute brunch spot is in the quiet streets of Dulwich and offers a surprisingly decent amount of tables both inside and outside. The coffee is pretty good and there are a decent range of food options available. I went with the 5065 Burger which was quite impressive and came with delicious shoestring fries that came out super fresh and hot. Will definitely head back. Love hanging out at places like these where you can relax in the quiet suburban streets See less

The staff are very friendly and it's definitely a cosy place. However, I'm not sure if we just came at a bad time but our coffees were quite average. The milk steaming needs significant improvement - there were large bubbles and a thick layer of foam (not micro-foam). I think it's false advertisement if the social media pages are filled with beautiful latte-art pictures too when it seems the milk was poured carelessly. Unfortunately, can't say much better about the food either. Our sweet potato fries (pictured) were burnt. The poached eggs that came with the Ratatouille was cooked on the inside instead of the oozy yolk I was hoping for. Overall, it seems the food and drinks aren't made with much care. See less

Quaint little cafe with wonderful ambiance. The menu has all the favourites but with a twist. We went for brekkie....yum food. I had the Benny's eggs which were perfectly poached and their hollandaise sauce was delicious, a squeeze of lemon was the only thing missing. My wife had the quinoa and buckwheat porridge which came with Mascarpone poached pear and rhubarb. Now I am not a porridge sorta guy but this was so delicious, right balance between sweet and sour and ooh so cinnamony. They do lunch as well which is an assortment of burgers and a few other things...will have to try that next. Definitely recommend this place! See less
