I don’t get the hype. Plain and choc croissant are perfectly average. Taste wise, texture wise. Very run of the mill. I don’t wish to cross promote but Maison Arnaud in Huntingdale is the benchmark for now. See less

Great quality bakery. Unfortunately, this outpost is takeaway only with no sit in. I love their fruit buns, date scones, and babka. Tried the mince pies but I found they had too much filling for my liking. See less

Products seemed good but their staff have zero customer service skills, don’t show initiative & not at all helpful. Was first time (& last time!!) customer lined up outside as required (on crutches too), happy to abide by rules of course, unbeknownst to me card only payment so they would not accept cash (had exact tender too) so they would prefer to miss a sale (& any more that would’ve occurred) than offer a solution very disappointing - so much for supporting local shops - I’ll stick with Noisette. There are bread shops and then there are exceptional bakery's, and the Woodfrog in Kew is exceptional. There are a range of different flour type breads that can be purchased whole or cut to sandwiches or toast. Service is very good. See less

I love woodfrog. They are one of the few places that do a decent Danish. Their croissants are puffy and taste of the good butter used to make them. Their fruit buns have good firm but fresh texture and good fruit balance and all their breads are fantastic. Only thing : get in early on special days (mothers day!) as it can get a bit crazy and sell out! See less

I have been looking for almond croissants everywhere , and this is probably one of the best ones I have had. Everything is a reasonable price. The croissants pastry was so buttery and flaky and in the centre the almond paste was so delicious, not too overwhelmingly sweet. Very nice man working there he was quite helpful~ Highly recommended!
