Good and spicy Sichuan style hot pot. But the mild pot is equal to hot/super hot you can have in other restaurants. So just order non spicy pot and enjoy all possibilities with their DIY dip sauce, unless you are addicted to real spicy food. See less

Possibly my favourite hot pot restaurant in all of Perth. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with traditional Chinese decorations, and an amazing menu. If you want great hot pot, I strongly recommend Wu Ming Hot Pot. See less

To be honest, I don’t what to say when I found a hair in the hot pot. What’s more, when we call the staff, they even didn’t respond to us. I don’t recommend here. See less

Oily Ming Hot Pot, left a horrible taste in our mouths. Way to much fatty oil, could barely taste the food. For the price, far better Hotpot places in Perth. It's a shame, the presentation is outstanding but the taste leaves it to be desired. See less

Very well interior and atmosphere, i really enjoy it. The food is not special but very good. Medium is very hot for me. The beef and prawns are fresh and nicely presented on special plate and even a doll! The backdrawn is they do not have English -ipad menu, only a paper which makes it difficult to imagine. The one in Chinese is completed with pictures and very attractive way to choose what you want. We were lucky that one of the waiter helps us to translate even go back and forth to kitchen to make us understand the menu, thank you! The pan is also beautiful with dragon heads on each side and two different soup options. Very tasty! See less

Love the wagyu beef and the bamboo shoots. The service is great and the decoration is very authentic Chinese hot pot style. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back. See less

There is no real English menu. It’s expensive. But the decor is unique, having two Guan Yu ( the green team guy from dynasty warriors) statues at the front is a different. See less

별이 한 개인 이유는 세상 가장 ⭐로이기 때문입니다 믿고 걸러주세요 (Eng review follows) Had a first visit tonight and couldn't be more disappointing than that. PLEASE RECONSIDER visiting here since it's not only worse than other hotpot places but was the worst one I've ever experienced in Perth for sure. In what? Service, food quality and price in EVERY aspect. First, as for service, I was so surprised to see no one was welcoming nor smiling. Just given a number without any information like greeting, expected waiting time or even a single word. No interaction at all. Then we had to ask twice to check if it's okay or something went wrong and wait more than 50 mins to be seated. One staff did ignore the query as well. Seriously all the servers looked upset and one of them served the drink rudely. Next, incredibly terrible spicy soup. We ordered a bit spicier one(between normal and crazy), but it was like hell. Like the photo I uploaded, on the surface was all over the chillies and peppers, and plenty of chilly oil. I've got to say it was INEDIBLE not only because it was overly spicy and numb but because too greasy. I'm telling you it was so much like an oil pond that I could see the soup turning into solid on my plate immediately like melted candle. After one sip, we never tried the spicy soup again. Way out of the ordinary taste in a horrible way. Lastly, most importantly, unreasonable price. We two people paid $94 in total, which was TWICE MORE EXPENSIVE than we normally pay for hotpot dinner at others. Soup by itself was nearly $20 and others were basically several dollars more expensive somehow in spite of NO difference in BOTH quality and quantity. One more, you know what? Don't order beef and lamb combination instead of separately ordering each b/c it's not cheaper, even costs a bit more, with no more portion, which was told by a staff. Guess they are charging extra on menus for no reason. As you can see my other reviews, I don't normally give one star as leaving a this negative comment. Plus, without a doubt, this is the longest review ever written. However, having an unpleasant dinner ever tonight, I thought I've got to share it in details with anyone. I'll never make a second visit though, I do hope they improve their serving for people who visit with an expectation for a far better time than this. Thanks for taking your time and reading this long one. See less

There have been a number of Chinese hotpot restaurants popping up in the recent years. Wu Ming seems like the latest and greatest, and it did not disappoint. With decors reminiscing of past Chinese dynasties, the dining experience is an authentic one. The dipping sauce is mandatory for everyone on the table, however the charge is reasonable at $2 per person. The soup is flavourful, and the meat and seafood are nicely presented. We will be back for more. See less

We have a few place to eat hotpot here in Perth, but only few places that I can recommend and Wu Ming is one of those place. We enjoy our food by tasting and eating them, but we often forgot that the way it being presented also have a big impact as well. Here, you can enjoy all of them, the way the food being presented tells you that they actually took pride in them. And the soup base is good as well. If you can eat spicy food, do give their signature soup base a try, but be warned, it's spicy!! The food was fresh and they have few unique food as well, such as deep fried rice cake with palm sugar syrup which going to be my own personal favourite. Do give this place a try,but be prepared to wait coz they're full most of the time See less

Went there for dinner today on a Friday at a table for 6. Service was excellent, prompt and polite. Food also arrived quickly and empty dishes were cleared with aplomb. We found the ingredients to be fresh and tasty. Our soup base was half spicy and the other half normal. For the spicy half, the spicy level chose was low but even then it was pretty spicy so beware if you can't take the heat! Overall we loved our time here and will definitely be visiting again in the near future! See less

Great food and reasonably priced and portions Being a new venue the wait was over 1.5 hours. The 3 gentleman in front were very helpful explaining the intricacies of the menu to a Non Mandarin speaker. I may be half chinese... But my half French side doesn't understand a word or my Grandfather's native tongue. See less

New hotpot in Cannington. The restaurant is nicely furnished inside and feels authentic. There was a short wait for the table but good that wait staff didn't some time properly cleaning down the tables before seating is. Staff were friendly although not overly helpful until we asked. Enjoyed the hotpot, however the soup combo we got wasn't exactly what we expected - the chilli side was literally all chilli oil and quite sixty, even though it was the lowest spicy level and I eat got food. I'm not a fan of lots of oil, so didn't enjoy the spicy side and was expecting a broth that could also be enjoyed like soup. The tomato soup was tasty and enjoyable. Pricing is ok. Recommend for those who enjoy spicy food. See less

Amazing hot pot dishes with the mildest soup to the craziest tongue burning spicy soup for those with iron stomachs. Decor is amazing. It's like you are transported to a restaurant in China the moment you step in. Check the pics out for the food. See less
