Really tasty; had the chicken and vegetables broth, fresh vegetables combo, Chinese fungus, dumplings, fish and sliced beef. All of it was very tasty and the DIY sauces with the different styles of recipe is a nice touch. I've been looking forward to trying this place. Wouldn't mind coming back for a big family dinner, I think it suits that kind of dining really well. Once my western palette is a bit more adept I'd like to branch out and try some of the more traditional options on the menu. Also had a taro flavoured tea from super emoji next door which can be requested within the restaurant. It was very tasty. Thanks guys, was nice to eat here. See less

It was the worst dining experience of my visit to Canberra. We weren't served any food for 50 minutes after we ordered. But at the same time, they kept serving dishes and BBQ food to customers who ordered hot pot. To the owner: Is this because we didn't order hotpot, so we deserve to be ignored? Is that some kind of discrimination? So we went to pay for drinks, the cashier asked the manager's opinion and insisted that we not be charged for the drinks. I insisted on paying. Please upgrade your service concept instead of giving out free drinks. See less

On the pricy side- but once in a while is ok. 😆 Food were great, I liked their bbq lamb skewers! Try it out if you like spicy chinese hotpot. I hope there is more places serving similar stuff in Canberra.. See less

The food is amazing. The ambiance is commendable. Only problem is with confusion while serving customers and delay in clearing the dirty tables. Overall it’s good. I would definitely visit again and recommend it too. See less

When it comes to hotpot, the best Canberra has to offer by far. But don't take this as a glowing review, domestic standards are lacking. Nice tasting, my guest found it a little spicy for the option we chose, so can't wait to try burning 🔥🔥🔥 Customer service is the usual lacklustre. Sadly the male staff here are rude beyond belief, even to the point they ignored us when we were waiting to pay. However, commendations to the female waitress with white nailpolish. Extremely friendly and welcoming. It's a shame your co-workers drag this place down. See less

I have nothing to complain about Wukong hotpot. I fully enjoyed my meal there with an extravagant amount of food I ordered with my friends. The place is quite authentic and the hotpot materials are fresh. The fun part is the make your own dipping sauce. For those who can't eat spicy food, I'd recommend you to order mild spicy for the soup base otherwise you will suffer. I gave them 4 star because it can be really pricey. For a group of 3, average eating, it came to about $60 per person. This is not including any drinks we ordered. See less

A tad pricey for the whole experience, but would probably go again with more people. Enjoyed the vegetable bone broth way more than the tomato soup base which was basically just tomato. Also enjoyed the sauce on the side. Overall a pretty fun, unique experience! See less

Great quality and creative gourmet! Love coming here when I’m craving hot pot. It’s all you can eat, so you just pick your soup base and dig into all the options. They have everything you could want for your hot pot - meat, meatballs, noodles and vegetables ect. They also have a self-service sauce bar so you can mix your own combinations. Absolutely yum! Good Quality Chinese Hot Pot. You can choose different type of soup base and how spicy you want. Very mild, mild, hot, very hot. Tomato Soup Base is recommended for someone can't eat spicy food. See less
