Ate here many times. As other said, their biang biang noodle is great! Thankful for the good food & good service... Can be too spicy hot for some ppl, so tell them you want LESS chilli :) See less

Xi'an Famous Noodle House has a limited menu but the options are quite well balanced and varied around Noodle based, rice based or soup based. The service is very cordial and helpful. The food is very well cooked and seasoned. Some dishes are very spicy, so if you are not used to hot spicy food make sure you go mild. We love it but it's not for everyone. I brought a chinese friend that studied in Xi'an province on his Uni days and he said "very authentic". The food was well prepared and brought him good memories. The Steamed Chicken in Chilly Sauce is a must for me, and the Biang Biang Noodles never disappoints. See less

Authentic xian flavor cuisine. Remind me of my nice trip in xian. I highly recommend cold noodles, Chinese hamburger and meat ball vermicelli soup. See less

Delicious Food. My first time trying Xi'an cuisine, I loved it. I can't attest to how this place compares to others but from what I had heard and read I had a decent idea of what a good representation of the dishes I tried should offer and their food met my high expectations. Staff were lovely too :) See less

A nostalgic experince that brought us back to Xian. Not your typical westernised chinese restaurant but authentic traditional dishes. The signature spicy and sour noodle soup was delicious! See less

Ordered the fried dumplings. My friend who had one had bad diarrhea at night and the next day. I had 11 and got very sick at night, had to go to emergency at night and off work for two days. We had dumplings before and was nice, not sure why this time was so bad and will not in a hurry to go back in the near future. The other dishes were still nice, but the mental scar and physical pain caused by these fried dumplings are unforgettable. See less

The noodles were fine but the service was seriously lacking. The first dish that came out was not what we ordered. The next two dishes took ages to come out and other people who arrived after us received their food first. A tip to the wait staff is to clearly state the name of the dish when you place it on the table instead of mumbling and scurrying away. Food tasted like they contained msg too. See less

The Biang biang noodle is very chewy. Hand made and authentic. The fried dumplings are the best we have had in Canberra. We have tried spicy steamed chicken and the pie with pork filling, they were OK. The handmade noodle and the dumplings are recommended. The service were friendly and fast. Children friendly. See less

Service poor staff not friendly waited 20 mins and have to repeatedly asked for my hot pot noodles of not much of tofu and mushrooms top that noodles was not cooked and it was cold. It was to be a piping hot noodles in soup. And it was tasteless.The pot was cold to touch. Cannot even give a rating. Had to star it to post it. See less
