The best turkish resturant in Melbourne! We have been there for a few times now. If you are lucky to get a table inside on Thursdays there will be a live band play traditional Turkish instrument. Love this place and highly recommend. See less

Amazing! Everything about this place was great, the vibe, the drinks, the food and the staff! We did the chefs menu at $69 a head and honestly almost had to be rolled out of there. All of the dishes were amazing. I will definitely be coming back here. See less

My friends and I went to this restaurant tonight. The first issue was they forgot to get my order for the main course. Anyhow, I ordered lamb skewers, the steel skewers was so hot that extremely burnt my 2 fingers of my left hand and I was not told by any of the staff that it’s so hot!!! We asked the restaurant manager to help us and he just said it happened and I cannot fix the problem!!! And didn’t even apologise in the first place! After we claimed a lot, they brought us some ice and burn aid! Such a poor customer service in such an expensive restaurant !!! At the end we compensate about this issue, and again the manager told us we cannot do anything and after lots of discussion he just removed one food from the bill!! What would you do with this kind of service! See less

We had the office Christmas party at this place. It was simply a feast of Turkish food. The person who served us gave a good introduction of every dish we got, how to eat it and it's history. Got some super Turkish Cocktails as well. Must visit place for Turkish food lover visiting Melbourne or living in South Yarra. See less

Wonderful modern Turkish food. Located at the end of the busy South Yarra strip, Yagiz is a bright light and airy space. Service is super friendly and welcoming. All the food on the menu looks sensational and comes as family-style share dishes - great way to try lots of different things; every dish we ordered was delicious and had unique flavours. The duck cigars were amazing, as was the baklava. And the Pine Mushrooms with ezine cheese - so good! Great evening with friends. Highly recommend. See less

Such a beautiful space, perfect for a date night or a catch up with friends. Good wine list with good variety. The menu is great for sharing or doing your own thing. Degustation menu looks a great offer too. The food is spot on, great flavours, fresh with a bit edge. Definitely try this place. See less
