Used to eat here w my boyfriend like every week but have stopped due to the mass menu change, the food is just ok but not as good anymore it was so good before the change. Was really hoping the change would be good. The prices are also higher for less food which sucks. Just pretty disappointing all round :( See less

The food is simply amazing. They have a great menu and range of options to choose from. The atmosphere is great, as is the service! Definitely coming back! Really enjoyed the yami roll, karaage bento box and spicy karaage donburi. See less

I witnessed a poor lady come over to collect her menulog order tonight & your staff did not check the reference name/number & incorrectly gave her order to another person... then on top of that, your staff told her to wait another 10 minutes and told her to go outside & he will bring the food out... she explained "in the cold"??? How horrible, when there was a whole bench free for her to patiently wait inside for your staff to rectify their error. Also.. the restaurant tables and overall look of the place appeared very unclean. Thank you for allowing me to express my concern. See less

Iam regretting after spending $80 on two bento boxes and one serve of sushi and the menu has changed. The price of this place have doubled. Could have spend the same amount in better restaurant with better and bigger sized food. I didn't enjoyed my food at all, it's not the same guys. Could have made better teriyaki chicken at home as its not as tender and juicy.the amount of food served didn't even filled me and iam not a big eater. When my husband told me the price, I just couldn't believe it. 😡Heartbroken See less

My heart is broken. I was a loyal patron of this restaurant from the week it opened. I ate a meal here at least once a week. The ownership seems to have completely shifted and upon calling in an order, I was greeted with half the menu being unavailable, and a plethora of staple menu items being removed. The prices have increased and the quality and serving size have decreased. The food is still okay, but nothing will compare to the OG Yami. 💔💔💔 See less

My favourite place ever!!! Food is consistently amazing, and I have frequented this place regularly over 2 years. Highly recommend the pan-fried prawn gyoza, big crunchy chicken rolls and karaage don. The female staff who are at the counter are so friendly and we always end up having a chat! See less

Not a regular customer here. But after finish a job nearby and looking for something for lunch. Saw Shalom Malay resturant and gave it a try. Staff and service was good. So I ordered a beef curry with rice. Rice was well cooked, I am ok with that. But the beef curry just provided little amount of sauce (see photo), may be around 2 table spoons only. The beef was super tough, very hard to chew. For $13 meal, may be not worth it. A bit disappointed after a hard work in the morning. See less

Price is a little higher than your average Japanese noodle place, but the quality and atmosphere is too, so it’s worth it. Not expensive in any case. The rice dishes are more filling than the udon, which is a little light on. Halal. Accessible. See less
