**VEGANS PLS READ***
I ate their french toast on my second day in Queenstown and later on my trip found out it is not vegan, when it was CLEARLY marked vegan on the menu. I am usually so good at telling the difference between cow milk & plant milk, vegan & non vegan, but when they are famous for vegan meals- i didn't even think to question it.
The staff claimed the menu was wrong & they were ordering new menus but it would have been nice if they crossed it off the menu or told me when I ordered the first time.
I have been vegan for 2 years & vegetarian before that & haven't had that amount of milk/egg products in so long. My stomach reacted and I had no idea it was from one of the most famous vegan friendly restaurants in qt.
Make sure you double check before you order here.
The woman that informed me offered me a free breakfast but I felt so sick after hearing I just ate egg, milk, cheese, etc.
I can no longer recommend this place honestly the staff was super sorry about what happened but after being so misinformed & miss guided about it, I wouldn't recommend it for vegans. See less
