Excellent delicious tempura teishoku at Toorak. My favourite tempura were white fish and mushrooms. I recommend their sashimi too, the kingfish was especially fresh and tasty! See less

A very well hidden gem. The dishes here are a must try. My all time favourite is their chicken katsu curry, especially on a cold winter's day. Their katsu curry is unlike any other around Melbourne. The curry is actually slow cooked instead with a lot of ingredients in them hence why the taste is so full and bold. Best of all the owners and staff are very courteous. See less

Everybody here is saying best Japanese in Melbourne, well I’m from the UK originally and I reckon one of the best in the world. The Katsu curry rocks. Cannot find one anywhere that compares. Sushi is fresh and you can watch Yuki preparing it right in front of you! My only complaints are that he only does Katsu at lunch time now and they close for ages over Christmas /New Year - but when you’re this good you can get away with it and customers will still come back in droves when you do open up 👍 See less
