Like most places Zaab has had to adapt to survive, and they're now investing heavily in the set menu, and cutting back on the choices on the a la carte menu.
This means a few of our much-loved dishes appear to have gone, but the reward is an excellent value collection of dishes for either $59, or $79 (the latter including cocktail).
The $59 contains just about everything we'd choose anyway, such as the superb Betel Leaf, Chicken Satay, Charcoal Chicken and Beef Massamun. They have a separate vegan menu, and have no problems switching out items for dietary requirements like gluten free (which, in our case, meant we got the Lao Sausage instead of the Grilled Pork, which we preferred).
This place is packed, so, there's not much social distancing going on, and turnover is fast, so they feed you quickly. But the food is superb, service excellent, and its great value for the quality. See less
