Convenient and funky little hole in the wall restaurant. In a really great location with plenty of seating. Gets really busy at lunch! Gail was so nice and explained the whole menu to me. Definitely a great place to grab a bite to eat when in the city. See less

I went to the restaurant and asked for a black rice burrito. The fellow who served me asked if I was gluten intolerant or Coeliac. I let him know I was coeliac and he made sure everything was completely free from gluten. Got new meat from out the back & salad/sauces/cheese/sour cream out of the fridge, didn't cross contaminate anything and took his time to explain to me what was gluten free. I am so happy with the service I received seeing as though this particular day they were super busy but the gentleman took extra time to ensure I received gluten-free food. One of the most delicious and nutritious Mexican meals I have ever had, a Burrito IQ. The quality of the food and courtesy of the staff and price was the same in Mount Isa as it was in Townsville. A pleasure to commence a regular patronage of Zambrero. Well I have eaten at a few and all the same. Consistency is key.Yum yum yum. I think it is a great meal. The QI Burrito is my go to meal.
