Normally I enjoy the food from zambreros as a tasty quick option, but tonight I had a terrible experience with the black rice in my burrito. Every bite hurt my teeth from hard rice that likely hasn't been cooked long enough. I understand black rice is harder to cook through, believe me, and a once off could be forgiven but this isn't a problem I should be running into throughout my entire burrito. I would recommend against the black rice option if you've had a history of teeth chipping or cracking from unchewable food. See less

Normally my favourite zambies to go to as they actually fill the burritos and build correctly but today's experience wasn't the best. The girl who served me used dirty gloves that she had been doing other things with, got half a scoop of rice and chicken on my burrito and a huge handful of corn to what I assume fill it out. Pretty sad considering how much we pay for a burrito. Please educate the staff on changing gloves between customers it's disgusting using the same dirty gloves. Next time might consider going elsewhere. See less

My husband picked chicken nachos for my dinner this evening. 70% of the bowl is chips. If I wanted chips I could grab from Coles. Very less chicken, onion looked like fresh out of freezer and were stinking. It used to be my favourite place, very disappointing. See less

I ordered a customised burrito bowl from this store today (08/06/2021) through deliveroo, and this is what the order looked like when I received it. I've been having problems swallowing and acid reflux for the past week and because of that the things I could eat are very limited. The burrito bowl from zambreros has been one of the few things I've been able to eat for the past couple of days and therefore I've been ordering from this store the last couple of days through delivery apps such as deliveroo and menulog, and I've been very satisfied with my order (thank you to whoever the staff member(s) who prepared my order the last couple of times, it was delish!) until now and you can imagine my frustration when I saw this today. I tried calling the store multiple times and nobody answered. I've paid $15.50 for this. Very very disappointed. See less

Great place for a quick lunch. Veggies were fresh but the meat could’ve been kept warmer (it looks like they transferred meats out of their heated trays into large bowls to speed up the cleaning process). It was still a tasty snack despite this. The staff member was very friendly. See less

Terrible service, ordered a burrito which was so full the guy could barely wrap it, it fell apart and had no flavour at all. Save your money and go somewhere else! See less

I came in to get a vegan and a pork burrito and recieved fantastic service today, I didn't get the name of the person who served me but she was friendly, efficient and the burrito rolling was on point! Many compliments to the chef :) See less

Worst experience ever at a Zambrero. We’ve eaten at 3 other zambreros in Canberra/Queanbeyan without any issue, but the service at Tuggeranong is entirely different. Very slow, smaller portions, and they’ve got a menu that is set out differently to all the other ones we’ve been to that is just confusing. See less

Guys, I just had a great night with my friends at Zambrero Tuggeranong, yes this is correct Zambrero. You might think that its just a take-away and I thought the same till I actually went there. Its more like restaurant than your fast food outlet. Anyway, we had beer, yes correct beer, (or maybe two, who counted) great food and a lot of fun. I can honestly say the best night out with my friends this year. I will not mention all the good things which they got, you just need to go there and check for yourself. See less
