I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards all staff, especially management of this exceptionally well run cafe for an event we had over the weekend. Everything was beyond perfect with many of my guests commenting too at how smooth the afternoon was - the food, drinks, service, staffing, the space - super clean, organised and set up perfectly for a function.
With what has been an extremely difficult year for all with Covid and small businesses, I decided to plan my baby shower at the function room to try and support small business and also have no hassle.
My main contact was Neil who was extremely patient with my requests, questions and went above and beyond in all aspects. I also met Alf and Renato who assist with the management and were super professional, as well as down to earth and very helpful.
The day of the event on Sunday, the staff helped move everything into the back function room and assist me with set up, nothing was too much. I was obviously looking quite pregnant and some friends running late to help set up, but I did not need worry as the staff were already well and truly ready to help in any way.
The waiting staff were lovely - I met Emily, unsure of the other ladies in the room but friends commented on how good their service was too - noticing what drinks they were having, and coming back to top up. I asked the cafe to take tea/coffee orders as well as soft drinks for the afternoon and it came out for my guests quickly and well presented.
Food was exceptional, as it always has been. More than enough and everyone loved it.
I found out later that a couple of friends who were pregnant couldn't eat some of the canapés and the restaurant even made them canapés without the aioli - this was only brought to my attention later (from a friend of that guest) that they had actually ensured all guests had something to eat.
I had a slight disaster with the cake I had brought (externally) , that had shifted in the box and they even took it out the back to their cake maker - who fixed it for me without any fuss whatsoever,
Thank you for making my celebration smoother than I could ever imagined, with a happy smile at all times. I was honestly blown away and would recommend this cafe/restaurant to anyone looking to book a function, have a meal/coffee. Support this business which has humble staff who really do try their best to ensure customers are happy.
