First time patronage, went with a group of workmates and ordered a variety of dishes.
We had the lamb shanks, lamb kebabs, chicken on rice, dips/bread, stewed beef (or lamb?) in a green sauce, iranian tea, backlava and the saffron pistachio ice-cream.
I loved every mouthful of everything I ate. The meat was tender, soft and well cooked. From the charcoaled kebabs to the chicken and then the ice-cream, it was great.
Would definitely be introducing and bringing friends to this place.
The atmosphere was very homely with the rugs on the floor/couches on the side tables and welcoming, very much set-up for a family style gathering and meal.
My only criticism is the dishes came with far too much rice and although very flavourful, was a little too salty for my liking and also a shame to have so much leftover.
Price wise, I would say it's a little on the expensive side. Definitely more suited for a special occasion. See less
