A wonderful selection of food. And exemplary service. Try the pastie, it is delicious! The seafood basket was great (the Mrs tried it). Coffee is worth the visit as well. Definitely give this place a go! 👍😁 See less

One of a few good places with good home cooked meals. The owner runs the Cafe and food quality is excellent and consistent. Have been eating there for 5 years a couple of times per week. Best home cooked food in Geelong. See less

I came here for coffee today with a group and sat in the back room the waitress seemed friendly at the start took our coffee orders and a few friends asked for their coffee to be warmed up as the coffee wasn’t hot at all ($4.50 for a small coffee might I add). My husband and another friend turned up ordered their coffees and 25mins later still no coffee so when they went to cancel their coffee order as we had to go the lady said ‘it is what it is’ about the coffees never coming. She seemed very flustered and uninterested in apologising about the poor service. See less

Went here today and was very disappointed, walked in to an unfriendly greeting. It was freezing so we asked to turn the heater on, it was turned on but for only about 10 minutes. We ordered some coffees and slices to share, the coffee is very small and the vanilla slice was frozen in the middle! There was no customer service, it was freezing cold and the food was unimpressive. We had to leave in the end because my feet were frozen. Will not return. (Posting for my wife) See less

Kylie prepares her food from scratch. All fresh and tasty. Love the pancakes and crunchie cheesecake. Well priced and great if you are looking for something a little bit different. And the pleasant greeting when you walk in the door is a real treat! Worth the effort and high tea on Thursdays is an added treat. See less

So what's happened here since these positive reviews?! My husband and I visited on a recent weekday for mid-morning breakfast. Cafe empty, table dirty with crumbs. We ordered coffee, bacon and eggs, Welsh rarebit. Coffee ok, food terrible. Despite advertising gluten free bread it was "not available". The alternative was STALE supermarket sliced bread, barely toasted and inedible. Fried eggs were burnt underneath. The flavourings for rarebit were overpowering and did little to disguise the poor flavour of cheap grated cheese. After two mouthfuls, the meal was left uneaten. Despite noticing our full plates, nothing was asked about the meals. We paid $35!!! and quickly departed. Should have complained at the time but had no energy for it. Will definitely not be eating here ever again. See less
