After an exhausting week, I was in need of some high quality food with a relaxed, outdoor atmosphere. This spot came highly recommended by some fellow "foodies", and it absolutely exceeded my already high expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience; from being greeted and sat immediately by a friendly host, to the very last bite of my Oreo bread pudding dessert.
I was surprised to find that the outdoor seating was "family style", but had such a pleasant conversation with the diners next to us. The environment is relaxed, upscale, and invites connection with others over a great meal.
The waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable - providing some great recommendations on what to order. We started off with the Burrata special, which blended some great (and different) flavors and textures. For the entree, we got the summertime scallops and the campfire lamb. While both were absolutely delicious and the perfect portion size, I have to say that the lamb was out of this world. I am very picky with lamb because it can be kind of tough/chewy if it isn't done right, and this just melted in your mouth. The smokiness, complimented by the sweet and savory onion-bbq jam just made my tastebuds dance. When it came to the dessert, we were fighting over who go the last bite!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an unassuming, yet upscale and elegant dining experience. I cannot wait to go back!! See less
