Very poor service, found this rubberband in chutney when I was eating the pappadym with chutney. Menu for drinks not served along with dinner menu. Have to ask for it. Food was ok but be very careful, anything can go into your mouth in addition to what you have actually ordered, as happened with me. See less

Food is very good but not as good as a few other places I've tried. Another user said the hyderabadi biriyani was mind blowing, and I totally agree! Tastes like actual biriyani with actual spices instead of an overly oily mess. And the palak paneer, butter chicken, daal (yellow lentils) were very good too! Even the pulao rice and papadams were perfect. Not overly spicy, not too subtle either and Papadums were very light and crispy. See less

I like the food and always order here. BUT. I always order goat curry. 3 out of 5 times, they serve lamb meat instead of goat meat. Most people can't tell the difference between goat meat and lamb meat. Some restaurants take advantage of this, unfortunately. See less

My husband and I have been to this unassuming little BYO restaurant, tucked away in North Point Plaza on the Chandler St side, several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food. The vegetarian entree platter for two is a great starter with a special treat being a bowl of spinach fritters smothered in yogurt and tamarind sauce. The chicken tikka masala, curried fish and curried vegetables with cashews are favourites. The rice and naan bread are always perfectly cooked. Talking about Indian food.. I felt like exploring this new place that have recently started in Belconnen. "Indian Bay" is gem located on the Chandler Street. On a friend's recommendation I tried their Hyderbadi Dum Chicken Biryani which was mind blowing.. But for me the major highlight was the Chicken Tandoori 🍗😍😘 As it's my Fav ❤️ cuisine and I love to try from different places. Of lately from which ever place I have tried this turned out to be the deal breaker. For this you need to try this out.. It was full of flavour and truly represented the spirit of India. Lastly even tried fried Prawns🍤 which was mouthwatering and delicious ! If you have not tried yet do try out and tell me your views! Saw the 4.7 rating and thought I had to try this place and I wasn't disappointed. Half the clientele were Indian, which is always a good sign. Great service, great food. The basmati rice, naan bread and the curries were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Boisterous Barossa Shiraz - a great complement to the dishes. See less

Yummy, spicy dishes and great service. Only one waiter but he quietly and calmly served the various tables. He found the kitchen had misunderstood one of our dishes and ensured they made the correct dish and served it to us with apologies. My boys and hubby enjoyed all the dishes we were served. We were glad to note that the dishes tasted different from other restaurants. I would recommend this as a new restaurant Northside to try. 😊😊😊 See less
