Spectacular venue for mid size weddings. Great marquee for dancing and bands, but the chapel is quite magical. A reincarnated old style wooden chapel with spectacular craftsmanship. See less

Attended our grandson's wedding and would highly recommend this venue. Chapel and function hall situated close together in beautiful tropical garden. Perfect if the weather is threatening as in our case. Reception food and service was exceptional. Central location between Sydney and Newcastle, 1.5hr drive either way. See less

We had our wedding at Kantara House recently and it could not have been more perfect if we tried. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and I loved it from the first day we visited. The staff were all so helpful and were even happy to let us design our own menu. We booked our wedding with Kantara House in the middle of COVID 2021 but continued to be able to have a large amount of communication with the team throughout our planning stages. Everybody commented on how beautiful the venue was and I am still in awe about how beautiful the grounds were. See less

How does one put into words how perfect Kantara House? I am a bride who has personally liaised with Cherie, Karina and Megan since August of 2019 when planned our wedding for October 2020. Covid came along and in the period of four different dates, Karina was there throughout the whole process. Karina’s customer service and passion for the industry made our conversations feel like I was talking to a friend with her warmth and genuine care for her couples. Our day finally arrived with an 18 month delay in the midst of a flash flooding event so naturally as any couple would be, I was absolutely devastated. Karina reorganised our entire ceremony to ensure all our guests were safe and it might not of been what we planned, it was even better. A thank you is not enough for the Kantara team, including the beautiful chef who was kind, considerate and equally passionate about delivering high quality food as he is about making couples enjoy their stay and experience at kantara house. My now husband and I are beyond grateful to have experienced our wedding with the staff at Kantara House. The place is beautiful, just as the staff are. If you’re looking for a tropical rainforest vibe with a hamptons twist, grapevines and green scenery, friendly staff, great food, excellent selection of beers and wine - this is the place for you. I attended this venue as a guest and was very impressed. The venue is like a beautiful green tropical oasis and the chapel was picturesque. We also loved that the ceremony and reception were on the same grounds. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Kantara House truly is one of the most beautiful wedding venues. We had to re-schedule our wedding on 3 occasions due to COVID and they were so accommodating each and every time. We never considered a change in venue and stuck with them from the start as it was our dream venue. The grounds are immaculate and the chapel is breath taking. The food was great and the entire day was absolutely perfect! The team at Kantara were amazing on the day/night and I want to give a special shout out to Megan who is literally the loveliest person I’ve ever met! She kept things light when we felt any ounce of stress or nerves, hyped us up and wanted to make it the best day for everyone! Our bridal party also could not speak more highly of her - what a gem! Adam and I truly had the most perfect day and now we hope one of our friends chooses Kantara as a wedding venue so we can go back there again! We would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. An absolutely breath taking venue! Unfortunately due to the pandemic my partner and I have postponed all wedding planning but Kantara House was our first and only choice for our ceremony and reception. Kantara is a true 'one stop shop' type of venue with a massive list of inclusions you just don't get anywhere else. Food, alcohol, accommodation, a gorgeous and diverse property location and the list goes on! The addition of the onsite chapel was the cherry on top for us. It is beautifully presented with hanging chandeliers and polished woodwork, without being intrusive to your own planned colour scheme and designs. It even has a ringing bell which is a unique touch, brought in all the way from England. Karina has been an absolute star with all communications and seems to have a wealth of experience and knowledge in the wedding industry. We cannot recommend Karina and her team at Kantara House highly enough! See less

I recently held my wedding at Kantara House and it was amazing! The food was not only pretty as a picture, it tasted phenomenal too. The grounds were spotless and well maintained (I even saw the groundsman blowing down my path to the chapel when I was getting ready in the morning). Karina and her team were flawless and were always there when I needed them most (I was an anxious bride which meant I needed them a lot LOL). Can’t recommend this venue enough! See less

I had my wedding at Kantara House (before COVID!) and my guests are still talking about how amazing the venue was, even months later! I fell in love as soon as I arrived for my first tour and I have nothing but great things to say about the venue. The staff are all so amazing, the grounds were manicured to perfection and the entire event went smoothly. My day was perfect despite a few curve balls thrown our way from other vendors on the day.
