Beautiful outdoor area with lots of plants, fairy lights, and great outdoor furniture. Can bring along "your little mate" - they even have a catered menu for them! Good food at a reasonable price, too. See less

What a busy hotel! We waited only a short time for.our dinner in a full restaurant. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The lemon thyme chicken special was amazing! We are visiting but if we lived here it would definitely be a regular! See less

I like it here. One of the few places in ACT that feels like a real good old pub. Food is great (comment based on medium rare scotch fillet Jan 22! ).There is a section of the hotel for all moods too. Outside sun or shade; inside - natural light; or inside cocktail bar type lighting. And no pokies or tab! See less

Very enjoyable meal and excellent service. Right from when I walked in the person at the door could tell I was a first timer to the place so showed me around me. I had dinner at The Grill. The steak was sensational and an excellent choice of sides with sauces no extra charge. The staff were friendly and supportive. A must place to have a meal and for those who drink (I don't) a sensational beer garden. See less

Pretty good spot in the heart of Canberra. I tasted the half rack of ribs, which was quite generous, and included cabbage slaw and potato wedges with sour cream. I had the hot and spicy BBQ sauce option which to be honest I wouldn't have again, I think the plain BBQ would be a better idea. Still it was a tasty meal, and I was impressed at how I could order from the beer garden via my phone and they bought drinks and meals right to the table. I'd be happy to eat here again. Kids meal options were pretty good too, the kids enjoyed schnitzel and fish and chips. See less

I am removed my five star because of new design and new service on Stack House. I went there for BBQ and cooked my stack by my own. New design removed the BBQ and no self service any more. Hi cook is very good but I am not back here any more. See less
