Had a great night out for dinner and walked into what was Trivia Night and managed 2nd place. The staff were super friendly, dinner was great and the host of Trivia was fun. Would definitely recommend and I would go back. See less

What a wonderful idea to cook steak.I ordered a steak and they surprised me with their cooking method put a steak into oil fryer with crumbled and served and been told our steak portion is small so we are giving you 2.Such a shame for the beautiful place how they serve their steaks .if someone love their steak meal please avoid.it’s great to have drink or catch up with friends but not for eating anymore. We have been eating Sat nights with our friends here for ages and loved the food. Happy to note that meal portions and presentation have lifted back to the great standard as it was previously so thanks to Star owners and new staff for that! Great food in a bright modern hotel. Recently the hotel's grounds and carpark have been landscaped and opened up for ease of parking. A super deal on Saturday nights is the 2 meals and a bottle of wine for $50. Delicious and superbly presented meals off their blackboard menu. Midweek meals are fantastic value both in presentation and value with plenty of parking available. Just a minutes walk to Maroochy River. See less

Where to start?...Excellent accessible parking with breaks in the guttering to enable wheelchair & wheelie-walkers a smooth run into the lounge. Comprehensive menu with large portions. Full range of coffees and/or entreés to start and delicious desserts to finish. Really pleasant, helpful staff ensuring all the members of our large group booking received the right meal with a very brief waiting time. Looking forward to visiting again.😋☕🍜🍰🥂👍👏 See less

4 of us (locals) and oldies have had a lunch outing at this restaurant and have frequented this place many times. We realize that there are new owners on board and hope that they don't change things too much cause they must realize that the locals are in the end their bread and butter.The 2 guys had the steak sandwich and looked great but both said that the steak was on the tough side. My friend (lady) ordered the seafood basket and had no complaints. I ordered the Pork and this surely a wow factor ....till I got to cut it ! I believe that Pork MUST be fully cooked and not very pink in the center like mine was.. Another 5 minutes in the oven would maybe have been perfect.. Presentation was the wow factor. Staff were excellent but have to agree that the prices on the menu were wierd. Yes ! we will go back for lunch but will all order something else. See less

Great service, cold beer. Was disappointed with my ribs meal was still hungry afterwards but my wife had the rolled pork meal & was delicious. Not big servings so a burger from Macca's or HJ's unfortunately is warranted. See less

I only go there once a month... despite living within walking distance... so can wear the increased prices. Star Liquor needs to lift their game or lower their costs... meal was hot and quite tasty but not one green morsel on the plate. See less

So first of 3 stars is generous for me- this is by no means a bad rating. Maroochy Bridge Hotel is a perfectly adequate pub/restaurant. On the evening my companion and I arrived for dinner they were having obvious difficulties with the point of sale system. Being a hospitality worker myself, I understand that these things happen and, unlike much of the elderly patrons around me, was able to wait patiently to order. We both ordered the steak medium rare. Mine was just medium, while my companions was closer to medium rare. The steak itself was delicious with a distinct char-grill flavour. The chips and salad were both perfunctory and the mushroom sauce tasted of gravox. I was not disappointed, nor was I impressed. The service was fantastic, attentive and meals were served promptly. Reasonable prices on food and drinks. See less
